I am a writer, teacher, and singer with an MFA in writing from Goddard College. My work has appeared in Mayfly and The Raven Chronicles, and has been anthologized in Dorothy Parker's Elbow: Tattoos on Writers, Writers on Tattoos. I teach writing workshops, The Writer's Spark, to writers and "non-writers" in Northampton, MA. I teach writing because I believe that we all have a story to tell and a natural desire to share these stories. My workshops are designed to help people reconnect with a sense of playfulness and freedom from the voice that asks: "Is this any good?" I am currently at work on a graphic memoir about my childhood experiences in downtown Hartford, CT in the 70s. On most Thursday nights, you can find me singing my heart out in a rock choir.
